Join the Voices for Recovery: Celebrating Connections

National Recovery Month 2020

Greater Oregon Behavioral Health, Inc. (GOBHI) understands that substance use disorders, suicidal indications, and behavioral health concerns greatly affect the individuals experiencing these concerns, while often leaving those who love them feeling deep pain and sorrow. GOBHI also understands that recovery affects each of these individuals in life changing ways.

Due to this understanding, GOBHI is honoring both National Recovery Month and Suicide Prevention Month. When we celebrate our connections to the diversity of people from all walks of life striving for recovery and personal wellness, we find the support and courage to speak up for inclusion, respect, and opportunity.

During a historic wildfire season on top of a global pandemic, these efforts are more important than ever due to the multiple stressors individuals face during these crises. We all can do our part by standing in solidarity with our friends, family members, and colleagues in the recovery community. We encourage you to join us in celebrating Recovery Month and Suicide Prevention Month, not only in September, but in each day ahead.
